Easter flowers

These lovely flowers (at the bottom) are planted by the council alongside our village war memorial at the bottom of Long Lane my one street.

As you can see this also is alongside our little church which was full of flowers this morning for our Easter Day service. Usually it is a mass of daffodils but of course they are nearly finished with our mild winter and late Easter.

These flowers were also for a wedding yesterday and the request was for white and steel blue. Very effective I think.

You may spot an egg or two as there as an egg hunt for the children after the service and bacon butties, hot cross buns and Buck's Fizz for all.
