Easter Sunday

I was supposed to make several simnel cakes for today - but I got distracted by revision, hence today's less than traditional offering. The lambs seem quite happy on top though. Hoping Chris, Ali & Vicky are happy to wait till next month for their cakes. I'll make them the week after my final exam... Promise X

In other news, the rain has just started. That somewhat thwarts the afternoon stroll to the pub by the river that I had planned as well as the Boys trip to the local fair. I suspect we'll still get to the fair, if the rain lets up a bit.

The fair is on tomorrow too - only we have the delights of emptying the lounge to do instead as the carpet is being sorted (apparently) on Tuesday. Having had numerous visits from carpet fitters, and the builders I will reserve judgement. Though if I must spend my bank holiday moving all the furniture out of the room and trying to store it in the rest of the house, if it isn't resolved I'm going to be exceedingly cross.
