Three Ages of the Byre Theatre
Earlier tonight* I attended the opening of the Preservation Trust's Easter exhibition, 'Three Ages of the Byre Theatre'. The main exhibit was a replica of an old theatre curtain (the original has been lost since 1970), which was painted by myself and (to a greater extent) other members of an art club I run at the university. I had a wonderful time and a lot of interesting conversations with Trust members/friends. Just before leaving I asked one of them to take this photo of myself and the other artists, in front of the curtain. No posing this time - just us being ourselves. :-)
*Okay, so it might actually be 5am as I type this. Cut me some slack, it's very rare for me to get invited to house parties these days, but that's where I was after the exhibition. A thoroughly wonderful evening/night/morning all round.
