First Trip to Horn Island

Finally got to go out on the boat today. It was a gorgeous day! The north wind was to our backs going out, and not too bad. Once at the island, the waves were breaking too close to shore, and we were not able to anchor and go onto the island. We had a picnic lunch on the boat and then headed in. Coming in was ROUGH! Beating into the wind and the Mississippi Sound felt like we were in a washing machine!

But it was worth it!
