Confident Heron

Drove to my dad's today with the boy for a visit. The boy has been so poorly it's nice for him to get out.

Went for a lovely walk along the canal and stopped for icecream at the cafe. We saw this heron ahead if us who didn't fly away until really close and then landed again nearby!

The boy walked really well considering his virus so the fresh air did him good :)
