Pink Palace

Estói is a small town on a hill near Faro, the capital of the Algarve. This is a region where they grow oranges, lemons & almonds.
This 18th c small palace has been turned into a pousada. It is open for visit. It has a wonderful garden in the French & Italian side with a lovely view over the countryside and the ocean.
However, its vivid colors make it a conspicuous Portuguese construction. Another lovely corner of this amazing country.
