Frohe Ostern (HappyEaster) - seen better days

The challenge today was to connect this image to the Shakespeare phrase 'seen better days'. Weather wise I had seen better days with glorious sunshine deteriorating to thunderstorms and torrential rain. We had a wonderful day in the Steiermark (Styria, southern Austria) visiting friends. This morning was the Fleischweihe or blessing of the Easter meal outside the tiny chapel in the village. The meals, typically containing cold cuts of meat, bread, eggs and horseradish are wrapped in red and white cloths and decorated with spring flowers. In the evening we piled in the car and drove around the tiny roads in the pouring rain looking at the many crosses dotted around the mountain. There are 51 illuminated crosses up to 22m high in this area, every one different. The quality of the photos is not the best as the only 'tripod' I had was the car door or window frame, but I wanted to share some of today's experience.
