Wheat fields

Everything looks better in the early morning. Despite sometimes working 17 hour days here, I am always happy to go out in the morning. Birds are starting to flock to Malta now, lots of bee-eaters and marsh harriers coming in. I thought my bird ID was getting pretty good, but then all these ridiculously good birders spot things with their naked eye that I cannot see through the binoculars. Hopefully will improve lots by the end of spring watch!
