Bluebell Wood

I went for a walk today in Prior's Wood - and it was every bit as lovely as expected! Certainly beautiful in Springtime with the lush carpets of bluebells, and the whisper of the wind in the really tall trees and the musical trills of birdsong.

Easy to drift off in your thoughts in such peaceful surroundings. B would have loved it here. Esp the sweet and friendly little ponies that came over to say hello!

Also picked a small few leaves from the dense masses of wild garlic - home to make some wild garlic pesto! My first! Yummy :)
