Why the shoe?

When walking from the college car park into town, I passed a pair of shoes abandoned on the path... couldn't quite work out who would've taken their shoes off at this point.

Something good: Nice meal with bcot folk, successful shopping, great film at the cinema, sneaky free parking AND an quiet night in. Score!
Something new: ALL my christmas presents bought today, wooh!
