Wales Millennium Centre
The day started with overcast skies and a cool wind. Extra layers had to be added before heading out onto the moorland. The area was covered with pits and depressions and the skill was in selecting the one which had your control in. Good compass work was essential. Just one error on a long leg where I stopped short of the control.
Called in for a quick shower before visiting Cardiff Bay. The sun put in an appearance as we wandered round Mermaid Quay. We even managed a meal sitting outside with panoramic views over the water.
Spotted a wonderful trawler weather vein but eventually settled for the photograph of the Millennium Centre set against the blue skies. Glad we made the effort it was well worth the visit.
