The beginning of a long weekend ..

Mum went off to respite this morning - I give only a few minutes warning that we're about to head off to the care home, otherwise she'd work herself up into a huge state of anxiety .. she took it rather well.

After settling her in I went to the wolds then on to Flamborough. I got a few shots of fulmars and razorbills (not a single puffin to be seen :( ) but I rather liked this silhouetted, pensive cormorant, staring out to sea ..
