Heron

Fed up of being indoors and of my own company I took a walk around the bottom of the Royal Mile and Holyrood Park this morning. Stopped at St Margaret’s Loch and noticed the Heron by the side of the water. Typically, as soon as I got the camera ready he flew off.

Came back home but couldn’t face being in for the rest of the day so went a walk locally.

I suddenly realised today that with the arrival of the baby soon, my life is going to change too. Something I am not ready for and maybe I don’t want, but don’t have a say in. Scary and unknown times ahead.
Maybe it is just the way I am feeling just now; everything is getting to me and feels too much.
