A Good Friday

My friend E. journeyed up from York & we went to meet A. & Miss M for her first girls lunch out & cultural trip to Falkland Palace.

We went to The Covenanter Hotel & Coffee Shop which was lovely, the staff were friendly & helpful which made taking almost 3 week old Miss M. out for her first girls lunch a really positive experience. :)

We then spent a lovely afternoon in the grounds of Falkland Palace where the wicker sculptures in The Orchard captured my interest, including this one of a woman and bird.

We also went inside the palace and M. was the second youngest visitor ever - something to remind her if when she is older :)

Had a perfect day with great friends :)
