Last car ...

My Dad was awoken by a loud bang at 1.30am - some uninsured idiot person had crashed into his parked car. Fortunately. a younger neighbour ran out and confronted the driver, preventing him from trying to get away. The Police were called, and the idiot person was arrested.

The Police told my Dad to expect the car to be a write-off. It was pushed at force against the kerb, no doubt doing more damage than can be seen here.

It will be my Dad's last car. He said earlier this year, that he did not intend to carry on driving after the year's end. But, despite this, my Dad didn't need this hassle. Even though he wasn't involved in the accident, this has still shaken him up and caused him unnecessary upset - he's 78.

I hope that whoever the young idiot male driver is, that his parents care enough to give him some grief about this. If not, I hope that the Police have!
