Me & Charlie ....

the Patterdale! We often bump into each other but he is recuperating from an a very lucky escape he had a couple of weeks ago because he will run at lorry wheels and this particular day unbeknown to his owner his extender lead was not on its safety catch. The naughty boy jumped out at a lorry and went under the front wheels but luckily Charlie was only scuffed and bruised badly by the tyres. The Vet said there were no internal injuries just very bad bruising and today he seemed quite chirpy so I guess he is not so sore now. I always have to wear my proper short lead when walking near any dangerous roads as its so much safer. We keep the long extender lead for fun times over the fields and open areas.
