Harbingers of Spring
French yachtsmen and women are starting to arrive over what has been a lovely Bank Holiday weekend so far....we have had sun, rain and hail this afternoon all in the space of a few hours or less.
Unlike British yachts which tend to have around 3 crew, lots of French boats arrive with about 6 or more, they must like to get cozied up down below and I am sure it is very sociable. We Brits tend to be much more conservative of course!
This yacht which is being escorted to a waiting berth by the harbour staff has arrived around low tide so, they will have to wait a few hours before they can enter the marina.
Chilly nights still so only the hardiest of sailors are out and about right now!
Enjoy your Easter weekend Blippers and enjoy the chocolate....just read that the Chinese population love chocolate so much that there may be a shortage over the next few years....better lay some down for the grandchildren...8-))
