The future's bright, the future's orange!

In my role as Trainee Gardener I was given the job of potting up 144 plug plants ready for the display of hanging baskets which, this year, is going to be on a grand scale. After 3 hours which included a major reshuffle of the greenhouse I reported to the Head Gardener who informed me that he had just ordered over 200 more plants! After a tiny hissy fit he agreed to take me out to dinner where I will tackle the subject of an automatic watering system!
On my way inside, these beautiful tulips and wallflowers (which I'd also grown from seed/nurtured/transplanted) greeted me. All I could do was smile and say 'It was worth it!'
