Where's Rita?

Woke up this morning by the sounds of sirens and a helicopter hovering over my place. There was a blazing fire really close by and it completely burned out a nice monumental building. what a waste. Luckily there were no human casualties.

I wanted to take a picture, but the street was completely sealed. Did capture a fireman in the smoke, but needs work, so maybe later this week?

Walking back I saw this - old fashioned - parking meter, and I haven't seen one in ages as Haarlem was the very first town to host a smartphone parking system.

This one actually still works too!!!

I liked the backdrop and Lexus completing the picture, the only thing I 'miss' is Rita…. the Meter Maid ;-)
