Easter Saturday - Kiwi Style

Finally the sun came out this morning, it felt so good after days of damp weather.
The plan was to spend the day on the lake - the 17 of us in two boats. By the time those that were feeling fit had been for a run, and we packed up lunch it was almost midday when we set off.
The heavens opened on the trip across to Hot Water Beach. We have an area on our lake where there is geothermal activity, only accessible by boat, always a favourite place to visit.
We anchored up just off the "Champagne Pool", and the children were off over the side heading to the little hot pool in the rocks, before climbing up the rocks to the "jump"!!! Just a perfect spot, when they got too cold from swimming they hopped in the pool to warm up.
Later in the afternoon it was time for the "ladies" to take over the pool with our glasses and some bubbles. A perfect finish to a great afternoon.
