Arriving in paradise

It is amazing how close paradise is to home. Less than 3 hours in a plane today followed by less than an hour on a boat and here we are on Atata Island.

The tide was low coming in so the reef is very clear. It is interesting weaving through the reef - following the channels of turquoise water over the white sand. You could reach your arm under water and touch those gnarly rocks. Just as well the boat driver knows what he's doing.

The morning had been so exhausting (read the sarcasm here) that the afternoon was spent relaxing on the beach and then having a wee evening nap., followed by sitting here at the bar with a tropical cocktail in hand.

Oh I do like being on holiday!
