My two grandchildren helping their mother make a banana cake.
Measuring the flour, mashing the bananas, and stirring the ingredients are fun.
Licking the beaters is a bonus!


Today we visited the rose garden, begonia house and the herb garden in Wellington’s Botanical Garden. It was pleasant sitting outside for lunch at the cafe.
It has been a grey day with very occasional showers.  The temperature was much warmer this morning – now, we are back home and relaxing in front of a warm fire.
