Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

- Robert Frost

Having spent almost the whole day on a plane, I didn't think there would be much to capture for this poem, but D cleverly suggested that as the temperature outside the plane was - 60*C, it could be said to be Ice, and the plane engine seen from our window certainly had Fire in it, as it burns the fuel to produce the almighty thrust needed to keep this beast in the air! So there you have it - "Fire and Ice"!
