Picnic in the sun

Today was a beautiful day, so after a yummy breakfast of pancakes we headed off to Dalkeith country park for a walk and picnic lunch.

The grounds were amazing, lovely forest to explore, a river to walk beside and plenty of room for CJ to run around.

After visiting the pig with her new piglets (who must have only been a couple of weeks old), we stopped for a picnic on a lovely green lawn and CJ spent the time running in the grass and picking the diasies. However, once the donut box came out he was only interested in sitting with S2 for this tasty treat!

Then we headed down another path and through more forest, before heading back to the car - a lovely way to spend an afternoon!
