Dumfries House

A beautiful day in Glasgow and a holiday! Went to visit Dumfries House, which was saved from being sold off by the Prince of Wales and a consortium of charities and heritage folk. They purchased the house, contents and land and opened it to the public. the house is the home to a very large collection of Chippendale furniture as is well worth a visit. The front ground are currently being renovated, so the shot had to be taken from a distance, behind a fence.
