Fields of Gold

Not quite fields of gold but despite being somewhat of a traditionalist I quite like the man made silver sheen across the fields.

Preparing my camera equipment today to photograph 500 men re-enact the Battle of Clontarf of 1014 which should be some spectacle.

Best wishes to many Irish friends on their way to Boston for Monday's marathon where they will help endorse the enduring strength of spirit in adversity on the first anniversary of the Boston marathon bombings..... We Irish see Boston as an Irish American city and our thoughts will be with you for every mile....just saying
