Eggs

Today I went to a local farm which sells Free Range eggs. I've driven by it so many times and so I decided it was high time I stopped and actually bought some.

I have some friends who have just acquired 3 hens for their 3 boys and I must say I am very jealous! I would love to have my own hens if I was not travelling so much. The dogsitters who look after Dolly also have hens and they all quite happily run around the garden together.

Well, if I can't have my own hens, then at least I can buy eggs from my local farmer! I was delighted to see them so beautifully displayed in this pine dresser. It certainly is a bit more creative than the local supermarket display! (And a better price, too!) Note the 'money chute' in the top right of the picture. This reminds me of the 'honesty box' in one of my other blips.
