Chillin down by the river

Just 10 short weeks ago the rock which this chap is sitting on was several feet under the water level. Luckily things are nearly back to normal now. On the other side of this stretch of water there are burrows on the bank which I assume belong to water voles. Having seen fotoday's excellent vole blips I thought I would see what I could see. Alas the burrows were under the water level and there was no activity to be seen.
