Mad Hare
Mum and I headed off to RHS Hyde Hall in Essex today, and and had a lovely stroll round the gardens. The veggie plot was most interesting, and we came away with some ideas for her garden!
Back at the car I was drawn by the sun lighting up the hills covered with Oil Seed Rape, and headed into the adjacent field for some shots. Suddenly this huge rabbit-like creature appeared out of the grass and hopped rapidly away across the field. I've never seen a hare before, but this had to be one. I quickly changed the lens for a closer shot, but on reflection, a bright red fleece is probably not the best camouflage, and seeing me coming, it bounded away, leaving me with no more than a shot of its backside
