Good Friday in the open air.....

This year, it was the turn of the vicar of the parish church, St John the Baptist -by my school - to lead the open air Good Friday service in the car park of The Swan public house in the High Street. About seven churches join together for this service and it is always well attended and watched by shoppers who had just come out to do the weekly shop. And again we handed out palm crosses as we walked on mass up the high street to the car park.

Then back home, for what has been a very quiet day. I can cope with those! Tomorrow we are expecting to meet up with the little people at the Olympic Park...just waiting for orders to come through re time and meeting place. It should be good. It certainly was when I was there in 2012!
