Gate to where?

So I had a little walk in the woods by my house, to snap some pictures of spring and new coming leaves and that, and I stumbled across this gate which had kinder been over grown with all sorts of natural, wild, woodland plants.

I thought that it looked rather cool, and in a way unloved and attended to.
