'Loooong Day'

"Patience is the ability to put ones desires on hold".

At times today it seemed as though the asylum doors had been left open as the county filled with holiday makers. The desire was to throttle one or more over the course of twelve hours.

The day started with a visit from EB as Clare calls him, as a child we knew him as 'Thumper'.

Off to work to cover the holiday (I'm off Monday/Thursday next week) passing Clare on her way home. Coffee kept me going on what proved to be a long hot day, it finished with a long queue of vehicles trying to get into the yard for fuelling and cleaning for tomorrow.

Now enjoying having a KFC with the children, b choice.
