Weather Sets the Mood

So often the weather is a big factor in how one feels that day. It's the spring season, but we had another huge snowfall overnight and it feels more like winter. The skies are gray, overcast, and gloomy, creating a somber mood.

Somehow this feels right for me today. It is Good Friday in the Christian tradition, and the reflection of it's meaning, very sobering. I attended a service at our church this morning. It was good to realize again what an amazing sacrifice was made on our behalf so we can have forgiveness, peace and hope.
