Dude Friday

There was a time, not so long ago, when he would've spent some of his Easter weekend jumping around in front of a camera to help me out with a blip. Nowadays though he's far too cool a dude to be doing all that. Happy just to wear his California Highway Patrol style mirrored shades and ear buds and lounge around wearing a hoody in the sunshine, whilst I pretend I'm trying to take selfies in his shades.

It's been a good week for the Delph Wynd Daily journal though; couple of trips to the New! Improved Formula!! Spotlight pages and then, today, having an entry selected as a weekly Staff Pick. And, into the bargain, a few new subscribers too (stick the kettle on, I'll be round visiting soon), which is always j0lly nice.

Good Friday indeed, and improving all the time with every IPA that makes it's way from the fridge to my belly.

Only downer seems to be that we're now sitting down to watch the 'Man of Steel' movie, which is a straight remake of the last Superman film, which itself was a remake of the first one I remember going to the cinema to see (the one that starred Christopher Reeve). I'm pretty sure surviving three iterations of the same story regurgitated on celluloid/in pixels means you're auld. Ah well.
