Easter Cake

It is Good Friday and I have spent the day decorating cakes (plural). Joe requested a Simnel cake and it wasn't my best attempt at baking but he seemed to enjoy it when we had some at his mum and dad's. The other cake was a pumpkin cake which made it into the photo complete with mini egg toppings. I have offered to make the dessert for our Midlands gathering with some good friends tomorrow and as last time I visited Ruth and Andrew I made Ruth stop in Waitrose for Pumpkin I thought I should let them taste it. I hope you guys are hungry tomorrow!
