"Semana Santa"

Good Friday morning and 7am sees the start of the Easter Weekend with the village men, and only the men, walking through the village for the traditional Stations of the Cross or "Via Crucis"
There are 14 stations in all strategically placed so that we are able to circumnavigate the village. Number one and fourteen are placed in the square by the church making good sense that that is where we will start and finish.
Most men of the village take part young and old, and after the last station is visited and a brief service in the church is held, free coffee and brandies are provided in the local bar. I wouldn't dare say that that is why some of the men attend!
My Halo is now well and truly removed and packed away for another year.
