On the cold war front line

Took a short walk through the woods to the border between Italy and Slovenia where, from a ridge, you can look into what was Yugoslavia. There is no real sign that this used to be an east-west border, although the decaying baseball stadium nearby indicates that many American troops used to be stationed locally.
