sunrise 8:30am

once at a party to celebrate the autumn equinox we all sat around a fire and were asked, if we wanted to, to say why we liked the time of year and the coming winter. there were all sorts of replies. some people read poems, others talked of remembrance of people lost, my (then future) wife sang a song and i fell in love. for my part i told the party that i liked the coming of winter because i like the cold, because the days get shorter and because you no longer have to get up quite so early to see a good sunrise! :-)

this is the view from my office window at 8.30am. i'm lucky to have it. :-)
