Sunshine and shadows

Another glorious day!

After birthday breakfast for Mrs D, and packing middley off to Cub camp, we had a lovely lunch at Vallum Farm Tea Rooms with Mrs D's parents while the other two boys played football with new friends on the field.

Ice cream for pudding and then home to sit in the garden and tend the chickens. Scarlett laid her first egg today - happy eldest!

Then a walk with the dog through The Rift and down to the river for a swim! This photo is the path back along the river through the trees. Glorious!
