Postie, postie....
Here's one thing we're really depend on, The Royal Mail. Sure we get couriers and email and there really great but at the end of the day it's The Royal Mail that's does the business. Not just for us but for everyone that lives in a rural area of the UK.
There's not a private organisation in the world that can touch them for service. Sure we get our mail a bit late sometimes but in the main the service is prompt and accurate and without them many folk would really suffer.
We live 45 miles from the nearest sorting office and we still get our mail everyday delivered up a track by 10.30 and the postie is always ready for a chat (usually).
Eat your heart out FedEx.
pps - Nearly forgot. Happy Independence Day to all our transatlantic chums. You know your welcome to join us again any time you feel like it.
