An Okapi

A trip today to Bristol Zoo. It was an informative visit with great emphasis on conservation and being Eco friendly. It is always amazing to see wild animals in reality,also sad to see them in captivity. The red pandas were new to me, apparently more closely related to the raccoon. The Okapi of the photo never ceases to amaze me, it is related to the giraffe family and has an extraordinarily sensitive tongue.
