Good Friday shadows

This wasn't supposed to be my blip today.

With a day of sunshine on the cards and plans to meet friend Jen for lunch at Mugdock Country Park, there were going to be so many blipportunities that I was going to be spoilt for choice...

However, with everyone else and their granny having the same idea there had to be a last-minute change of venue, simply because the car-park was choc-a-bloc, so Jen and I met in Milngavie instead and went to a new little place called Jessie Biscuit in the precinct. The food was good but the service painfully slow. Still, it was good to catch up with Jen's news.

I tried taking a few sneaky street shots in the precinct - disappointing - and I thought about stopping on the way home to catch a scenic shot - nowhere safe to pull in off the road - so I've ended up with this one that appealed to me at the crack of dawn when I got up to feed the cats.
