Haweswater

The weather promised to be glorious so we set off quite early and drove up to Haweswater. It is many years since I have been here. This is the view from Whiteacre Crag. It was very peaceful although a fair number of cars were making their way to the carpark at Mardale Head for their occupants to go walking.

From here we decided to go back to Shap and go East. To Crosby Ravensworth, Maulds Meaburn, Orton, Ravenstonedale (where we had a good lunch), Sedbergh, Kendal, Natland, Sedgwick and home. We really liked the area around Sedbergh and plan to return before too long.
