Honister Pass

Peaceful, tranquil, magnificent, awe inspiring, breathtaking are just a few of the terms I would use to describe the Northern Lakes.

This shot was taken this evening at the foot of the Honister Mountain Pass, which runs between the head of Borrowdale and the head of Buttermere.
