Back blip 18/04

I'm a bit behind with my blips.

Thank you all again for all your support and good wishes over the last few days. The op was successful last night and that ghastly stent has been removed and the remaining stones in my left kidney blasted to smithereens. Without going into too much detail I had some rather eye watering trips to the loo in the middle of the night in order to flush the fragments out of my body.

Happily my experience in this hospital was heavenly in comparison with the other one. And, get this.... by great good luck and coincidence the nurse who was looking after me last night happens to be the son of my blip pal Latestarter! How about that! He was wonderful and I felt very safe with him watching over me.

I'm feeling rather sore and bruised but I will get myself back to 100% over the Easter weekend. I am going back in a couple of weeks as the urologist is hoping to be able to pinpoint the stone in my right kidney to see if he can do something about that without resorting to any invasive measures.
