Dog Fight Over the Lake

This afternoon Wanaka was treated to a free display of 6 Vintage aircraft to mark World War 1 centenary, Tom my son and I went up on Lismore Park to watch, it was great to see them flying around and really made you aware of how brave the pilots were in those flimsy slow planes.
Robs father in UK was a pilot at the age of seventeen and was expected to fire a pistol as he flew this type of plane, frighteningly amazing.
