Aardman Studio Tour -

As part of the Kickstarter project for the new Morph
episodes we got to go on a tour of Aardman Studios.
This is one of my passions in life as everyone who knows
me will testify. It was like all my Birthdays and Christmas's
all rolled into one.

We arrived in reception which was filled with old props
from the films , a massive Wallace sat on the chair and
rabbits in the corner.

We were greeted by Peter Lord himself , one of the original
founders of Aardman and the head of the Morph project.
We got to go into the Studios where they were actually
shooting two episodes, saw all the props and lots of Morphs and
Chas . We then went to the model department where they build
anything needed and saw alot of old characters as well as a few
new ones which I can't mention.

Then we went to the Morph archive room with all the old stuff
collected together from his orginal appearance on "Vision on" in
the 1970's to Take Hart and then his own show.

All over the studios and offices there was characters , models
and props , we even got a glimpse of the "Oscars" in a conference
room.
It was a fantastic afternoon and one I will never forget , it has
become one of my happy moments ,those that sometimes you
need so you can look back on and break into an instant smile.
