Good Big Wet Friday

I persuaded my best friend to abandon her study for a while and come for a walk with me. She agreed to, despite the fact that it has been raining for forty days and forty nights. There is a bit of surface water around our neck of the woods but nothing too bad and at least it isn't cold. There is some serious damage elsewhere on the island.

Our neighbourhood has these interconnecting parks which is brilliant for your afternoon or morning stroll. Looks like you could do jet sprints in this one though and Karen was glad she had donned some boots.

I am looking forward to a few days off work.
