Morning siesta

The cows were in the paddock next to the house overnight, so this morning I carefully went out and took a few photo's before they went to be milked at 11am. I caught cow number 90 snoozing sitting up.

Here it is 3.30pm and it's absolutely teeming down, and has been for the past hour. The fire siren has just gone off, which usually means a road accident. Not good.

Like most of New Zealand it was a very windy night, although not as windy here as other parts of the country.

It's been a good day to relax and catch up on some sleep - just like number 90.
