A favorite painting of ours

or a tiny part of it to be exact. My husband bought this painting by Elías B. Halldórsson in 1987 if I remember it correctly. I went with him to choose it, and we met with the artist in his studio, and both agreed on this one. It followed us when we moved to Norway in 1989 and back to Iceland in 1995. This snapshot with my phone really does not give it credit, but that's all I could manage today.
